Office Bearers for the Year 2001-02

* Mukhi, permanent appointment
Br. Sadik Badami has been appointed as Mukhi of Zainabiya Center for the full mandate period of this committee.

* Updating of answering machine and Jamaat web page
Br. Arifali Hirji has been given the responsibility of updating the latest information in the Jamat ansaphone and web page.

* Sub committee Ghusl/Kafan
Br. Zulfikar Alibhai shall chair this committee where the other members interested are Br. Reza Hussein Pirbhai, Br. Pyarali Bandali, Br. Arifali Hirji, Br. Fazel Dhirani and Br. Mukhtar Dhirani.

* Appointment of representatives to WF, COEJ & FIFS.
Following are appointed to represent our Jamaat in the above organisations:

WF:			Br. Gulamhussien Sumar
COEJ:			Br. Zulfikar Alibhai
FIFS:			Br. Salim Govani & Br. Nazarali Hassan Ali

* Sub committee Maintenance of Center
Br. Zulfikar Alibhai shall chair this sub committee, whose active members are Br. Reza Hussein Pirbhai, Br. Hasnien Hassanali, Br. Iqbal Fazal and Br. Moshin Mohammedali.

* Zainabiya Child Sponsorship Scheme
Br. Hashim was requested to continue with this noble work, which he has gladly accepted. Br. Hashim shall appoint a partner to work together with him. Br. Hashim shall now and again be invited to the committee meetings to give his progress report.

* Youth, sports and Leisure:
Br. Mohammed Rai has accepted to take this project under the umbrella of our Jamat. Br. Mohammed emphasized the importance of continuity, so that this project is not only for this mandate period. Br. Mohamed shall be working closely with the COEJ in regards to summer camps and likewise activities. He shall further try to arrange for 2 summer camps for our youths. Br. Mohammed shall now and again be invited to the committee meeting to inform us of his progress and needs.

* Madrasah:
President, Br. Salim Govani was appointed as Co-ordinator of Madrasah.
Br. Salim approached Sis. Batul Hirji to continue to manage the madrasah as its Principal that she has gladly accepted.

* Burial and Insurance:
Insurance to cover burial cost was passed by the general meeting and this has already been paid for the month of April. It was decided that the premium for the month of May should also be paid for, meanwhile, Br. Zulfikar shall distribute post-giro forms to all the members, so that those interested can pay the premium. The terms of payment shall be 13:- per month to be paid for one whole year at one time.

* Ladies Committee:
Results of the election of the ladies committee held on the 20th of April are as follows:
